Thank goodness the Smoltz experiment is over. It only cost John Henry & Co. about 5.5 million plus all the rehab since Spring Training under the Red Sox golden umbrella !!!! We should have never picked him up, and to pay him more than Varitek !! (A slap in the face) We should have picked up Cliff Lee while we could, now the Phillies have him & Pedro.
